Meet Dr. Josh Whitt DMD, MS

Dr. Josh Whitt is a native of Calhoun, KY and received his undergraduate degree from Western Kentucky University and his DMD degree from the University of Kentucky. In 2019, he completed his residency in periodontics at the University of Kentucky and joined Dr. Adams in practice shortly after.
Dr. Whitt is a member of the Kentucky Dental Association, the American Dental Association, the American Academy of Periodontology, and is the current president of the Green River Dental Society. He is also a member of the Southern Academy of Periodontology and serves on the Executive Council. He also leads a Spear Study Group in Owensboro and regularly participates in a Madisonville club: both groups focusing on excellence in patient care and effective treatment planning.
Dr. Whitt strives to stay current with the latest procedures, techniques, and technology, and is certified in the LANAP (Laser Assisted New Attachment Procedure) and offers PRF (Platelet-Rich Fibrin), as well as ProArch full mouth rehabilitations.
While completing his doctoral and master’s degrees in Lexington, Dr. Whitt met and later married Owensboro native, Dr. Meagan Aull. They now reside in Owensboro and are active members of the community where Dr. Whitt regularly serves at the Christian Dental Clinic. In his free time, Dr. Whitt can usually be found enjoying the outdoors and spending time with close family and friends.
