MICHELLE ADAMS, RDH, BS
Office Administrator/Dental Hygienist
After graduating from Western Kentucky University in 1996 with a Bachelor of Science degree, Michelle moved to Owensboro to practice dental hygiene in general dentistry. She and Dr. Adams have been married since 2000, and she has worked in his practice for over 25 years as a dental hygienist, public relations coordinator, and office administrator. Currently, Michelle holds a license to deliver local anesthetic, is certified in laser disinfection, and is a CPR Instructor, teaching First Aid and Basic Life Support classes with the American Heart Association. Recently, she became certified in ACLS – Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support She also lectures on Medical Emergencies for the Dental Office and Hygienist, which is approved by the Kentucky Board of Dentistry as well as OSHA and Bloodborne Pathogens. With a high standard for customer service, communication, and satisfaction; Michelle strives to maintain a relaxing, comfortable, and efficient office environment for all.

PATTY HINES
Administrative Assistant
Since 2015, Patty has been a member of our team, bringing with her over 30 years of experience in customer service from her office administrative and supervisory positions, in which she served on numerous state level committees. With a warm, inviting, and outgoing personality; Patty welcomes all she encounters and enjoys providing excellent customer care to our patients. As office administrative assistant, she helps our office to run smooth and efficiently. Patty is a CPR/First Aid and Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider and is part of our public relations team, coordinates the Spear doctor study club events.

JEANNIE MATTINGLY, RDH
Dental Hygienist/ OSHA Officer
Jeannie has been practicing dental hygiene for Dr. Adams since 2006. She is a graduate of Henderson Community College, where she received her associate degree in Dental Hygiene in 2006, with a license to deliver local anesthetic. Jeannie is certified to perform laser disinfection, is a CPR Basic Life Support and First Aid Healthcare provider; and is a Certified Dental Assistant with over 25 years of experience in the dental field providing excellent dental hygiene care to our patients. Jeannie lectures on OSHA and Bloodborne Pathogens and is the OSHA Officer for our practice helping to maintain a safe office environment for our team and patients. Jeannie is also a member of our public relations team.
Dental Hygienist/ OSHA Officer
Jeannie has been practicing dental hygiene for Dr. Adams since 2006. SARA MCKINNEY, RDH
Dental Hygienist
A 2017 graduate of Henderson Community College with an Associate of Applied Science Degree in Dental Hygiene, Sara has been with our team since 2018. She is licensed to deliver local anesthetic, certified in laser disinfection, and is a certified in both CPR Basic Life Support and First Aid Healthcare Provider and ACLS – Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support. Weather treating patients as a hygienist or assisting the doctors in surgery, Sara’s skills and caring personality helps patients feel at ease when they are under her care.
Dental Hygienist

CHRISTINE BUNCH

In February of 2016, Christine joined the team, bringing a wealth of knowledge in insurance and finances. With over 25 years of patient care experience in the healthcare field, Christine helps to guide patients through the insurance and financial process with ease and has great enthusiasm in customer care. She will go the extra mile to assure your experience at our office is the best. Christine continues to stay up to date with the changing insurance regulations through continuing education courses, and she is a CPR/First Aid and Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider. Christine is a member of our public relations team as well.

CORDIE MORRIS
Treatment Coordinator
With over 16 years in customer service, along with a background in finance and the medical field as a certified nurse assistant, Cordie brings a variety of skills to her job as a treatment/financial coordinator. Blending her business and medical experience, Cordie guides patients through the treatment plan and finance process with ease. Cordie has been a team member since 2020 and her smile, politeness, and positive attitude is contagious to all that meet her. She is certified in Basic Life Support CPR and First Aid as well as ACLS – Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support with the American Heart Association.

With over 20 years of experience in customer service, Marcia joined our team in April of 2017. As patient scheduling coordinator, Marcia will greet you with a warm smile and is always ready to assist you with any of your scheduling needs. She is organized and efficient as she guides you through the new patient process seemisly. Marcia is a CPR First Aid and Basic Life Support healthcare provider and looks forward to speaking with you soon!

NATALIE THOMPSON
Surgical Assistant
In October of 2015, Natalie joined our team as a dental surgical assistant, bringing over 20 years of experience in the medical field to her role. She holds an Associate Degree in Science from Owensboro Community and Technical College and is a Certified Nurse Assistant. Natalie is certified in dental radiography, IV placement, coronal polishing, and is certified in CPR/First Aid and Basic Life Support and ACLS – Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support. With her organization and skills, she helps to smoothly guide patients through the surgical process with great care.

Megan Powers

With over 10 years of experience in the medical and medical assisting field, Megan brings organization and attention to detail to all that she does. She is certified in dental radiography and IV placement; and is a CPR/First Aid and Basic Life Support healthcare provider. Recently, she became certified in ACLS – Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support thorough the American Red Cross. Megan has been with our practice since 2021, quickly learning and advancing in her sills as a dental surgical assistant. With confidence and ease, Megan will guide you through the treatment process efficiently and with care.

Ella Adams
Sterilization Assistant/Intern
Ella Adams is a student intern that has worked in the practice for 3 years. She is a student at Daviess County High School and was accepted into and is attending the early college program at Owensboro Community and Technical College. Ella is on track to receive her associate of science degree when she graduates high school in 2023 as well as an Honor’s Diploma. She is certified with the American Heart Association in CPR and plans to further her education after graduation eventually pursuing a career in the health care field. Her maturity, organization, and ability to jump in where needed, helps to keep our schedule on track.

Sophia Adams is our star employee! She loves everyone and will be happy to “say hello” at your appointment. Sophia was born in 2020 and brings a lot of smiles and happiness to our patients as well as our team.
